SAAMA Maintenance Excellence Awards Gala Evening was held on the 24th October 2008.

Here are some highlights of the evening!


Our guest speaker will be Mind Guru - Kevin Horsley! Kevin is one of the world's first eight International Grand Masters of Memory. He has dedicated his life to self improvement and the development of others. Kevin has a remarkable ability to memorise numbers, names and much more! Our guests had the opportunity to join in on the fun!

The winner of the SAAMA Maintenance Excellence Awards for 2008 was ArcelorMittal's Vanderbylpark Site on one of their cold rolling Mills. Contratulations!

Presidential awards were presented to Air Reliant, a company based in Edenvale, Gauteng, SA. Norman Palmer accepted the award for the Company's selection.

Norman Crow and his team, Francois Prinsloo, Reuben Mbowane, Leon van Tonder and Frans Lategan received the Presidential award for individuals.

The presidential awards are presented to and individual and/or company that has gone far beyond the conventional or customary standards in their line of work. SAAMA believes in giving recognition to those who so dearly deserve it!
